Jenny O'Brien Wedding Music

Jenny O'Brien is a professional wedding singer and pianist, based in the West of Ireland. Over the years she has gained the reputation as being one of the most sought after wedding singers on the irish wedding scene and will provide beautiful music for your wedding ceremony that is second to none. Her distinctive, strong voice, and skills as a musician, make her a very popular choice for couples who are looking for unique and memorable wedding music on their big day.

Born in Belfast but in Galway most of his life, David lives and breathes Piano. He has been teaching Piano and Music Theory for over 10 years and holds a BMus from the Cork School of Music (2009-2013) specialising in piano performance and pedagogy. He also holds a Diploma in Teaching and Performance (DipMus) from the Royal Irish Academy of Music (2007-2008).  He has studied under Dearbhla Collins, Reammon Keary and RIAM director John O’Conor. In the Cork School of Music, David studied under Nicholas O’Halloran and the head of department, Gabriela Mayer, as well as gaining  conducting experience from Alan Cutts.

David is an accomplished concert soloist, having performed most notably in the Mendelssohn Remise, Berlin in 2012, performing works by Beethoven and Liszt. He has won a number of Piano competitions around the country including Dublin, Sligo, Wicklow and Cork, and has performed in eight piano master classes with distinguished pianists including Barry Douglas and Pavel Nerssesian.

Swingin' Out Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, Charleston, Tap classes in the west of Ireland.

Swingin' Out specialises in dancing, teaching and performing vernacular jazz dances from the 1920s onwards, including swing, lindy hop, solo jazz, charleston, collegiate shag and rhythm tap.  

 

We  teach a range of weekly swing dance classes in Galway and have taught and performed all over Ireland.

We fell in love with swing music and dancing a long time ago. We hope to introduce more people to this wonderful dance so that they too might discover the same joy we get from it!
